Unlike most movies that feature iconic cars, there was only one '67 Camaro used in the 1980s cult classic Better Off Dead. We've been feeling a bit like Meyer himself lately (a female friend once called us something like a walking John Cusack movie we're still not sure if that was a compliment or not), which led us to wonder whatever happened to the car. Apparently, a guy in Florida named Jeff wondered a bit harder than us, and a few years ago he set out to track down the the SS350. The tale at the following link is a rather incredible story of tenacity, luck, and the almost-frightening use of a number of private detectives.
