    Coming to America: 2007 Mazda 2?

    We'd heard a rumor last year that Ford is considering bringing its Fiesta to America in 2007 as a new entry-level model below the Focus. Maybe if Mazda decides to launch the Mazda2 in the US market — as was implied recently by Mazda prez Hisakazu Imaki — Ford will ride along with a rebadged version. At least that's what My Ford Dreams is asking. Whatever happens, it's assured something will happen in the lower end of the Ford stable — it has to, what with all the competition gearing up for a mini showdown.
