The concept of a street-legal Indy race car sure seems cool in theory. Cool, that is, until you consider the height and position of a driver's head relative to the scores of decapative objects out on the road, such as truck trailers, SUV bumpers and adopt-a-highway signs. Still, the IndyStreet racer, available as a kit or a turnkey streetrod, looks like too much fun for the DOT to allow. We'll take the company's word that it's street legal, at least for those with level heads. [Thanks to David for the tip.]
