Pity the poor Coyote, his brand image marred by one, inept lout with an insatiable hunger for bird flesh. If that weren't enough, he now must share his name with a kit car whose 1986 Pontiac Fiero chassis is its most judiciously applied part. We're not sure if it's a relative of the Cody Coyote from the 1980s TV series "Hardcastle and McCormick" starring Brian Keith and Daniel Hugh-Kelly. But if it is, this dog is probably its snot-nosed little cousin. Reserve met at under $6,000. [Thanks to Eric for the tip.]

Oh my God, that's the stupidest thing I've ever seen. A squished down Enzo look-alike on a Fiero chassis. There are some truly fine kit-cars out there that border on (and in some cases, exceed) oem quality. That thing is not one of them.
The Cody Coyote was tighter than my little sister. Its swoopy lines are a nice mix of a Dino and an Alfa 33 Stradale. The tacky abomination featured in the auction looks like the unwanted offspring of a 80s Mercury Cougar and a Countach. In fact, this kit car actually looks more like a descendant of two other kit cars -- an Excalibur and a bad Countach kit. Perfect for Alabama.
I think the best part is the fake engine cover with twelve spark plug leads!
Pity the coyote? Pity that poor Fiero. What did it ever do to get that death sentence put upon it? Ugh, I weep for it a bit inside.
Gotta wonder about the air filter on top of the phony V12-influenced engine cover- let's suspend our vast ocean of disbelief for a second here and imagine a real V12 being forced to breathe through what appears to be Manny, Moe, and Jack's finest $4.99 Taiwan-tastic set-screw-biting-into-Baja-Bug's-single-Solex-carb air filter... oh yeah!
I could never truely understand the mind of a person who is willing to dump cash into a project like this. This thing looks nothing like a real enzo, and certainly doesn't perform like one. So what can possibly come from a project like this? One word: Ridicule. There are very few cars that can be replicated in kit form and still hold some dignity. The enzo isn't one of them. Although i feel that some shelby cobra kit cars are worth building.
i think this car is bad to the bone!!! but i have one too!!! i have people hanging out the windows to take pics of it with cell phones!! it is a blast to drive! people of all ages come to see it! not one person has had anything bad to say about it? the first thing they say is WOW how much did that cost? i guess unless you own one you would not understand! you see a car like this is to get people att! or to say hey look at me! you get the same thing as you would if you were in a real ferrari enzo!!! but this dont cost 975,000 so i get the best of both worlds i get the att!! and still have my 975,000 a car like this is for people who have more brains. and still have there money too...
