The Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Gullwing had as much of a chance not getting in as America's children had of President Bush expanding their health care coverage. Meaning it's that time of the quarter when you, the little people, get to take into account all my hard work, due diligence and superb taste. Then spit all over it. We now have 30 Fantasies clogging up our Garage. One of them has to go! So we're going to work it like this: here in Round One, you vote on the first 10 cars. Then, this afternoon, you vote on the next 10. Tomorrow we'll give you a whack'a'mole at the remainder. You'll have the entire weekend to violently argue intelligently discuss the elimination process amongst yourselves. Finally, come Monday, you'll get to decide which car has to pack its knives and go. A word of caution: anyone caught voting for the Daytona Coupe will be getting a visit from a Spinelli Cement & Shoe Co. regional rep. You've been warned. Happy voting.
