Did the Caddy make it out OK?

i only saw the end of this episode.. i noticed the crushed CTS.. i was saddened to see it crushed... but i thought Caddy would want to show their car not crashed in a show....

In the USA series "Burn Notice," I saw the first new CTS I've ever seen on TV (except for that tease on the news a year or two ago). It was thunder gray :-)

a desperate color, nah too obvious for a housewives car.

It's the CTS that belongs to Dr. Adam Mayfair. It doesn't look crushed to me, it just has some crap piled on it. The Grand Am that landed upside down in the episode though... -it- was crushed. Not a big loss.

Besides the red CTS on DH, I believe that Cadillac actually started promoting the CTS (and XLR) on the FX show "Damages." The lead character (Patty Hewes) was driving a black CTS back in September. Apparently she is powerful enough to obtain a car well before it goes on sale.

I'm not sure of the color but I heard it has a fire crotch and that doesn't sound safe for anyone.

ROFL i noticed the "decorated" CTS as well. I tuned in for the last fifteen minutes to see destruction and all i got was Jericho style budget crap.

I thought this site "jumped the shark" when a the female contributor statred writing about hello kitty, then I soured on Ray W for his dissenting piece on why the transcontinental record should die, now I have to see desperate housewives clips here.... PUH-LEEEZE. Maybe it was with good reason both Davey G and Spinelli left. I think jalopnik will be deleted from favorites soon.

It's pretty interesting how this show has morphed into a Nissan/Premier Auto Group/GM/Maserati car commercial, interspersed with lame plot lines.

As I was perusing Jalopnik, my mail arrived, including the new issue (Jan. 2008) of Car & Driver. Their tester CTS for their US$38K luxo sedan comparo is shiny black, and even made the cover.

I love dark colors on my sedans; my black-on-black E320 replaced my midnight-blue Lincoln Connie. I think the dark colors show off the chrome bright-bits better (I spend on cars for looks & luxe -- L.A. freeways inspire me to get wheels that coddle me, and 6'6" means headroom is a must). The CTS placed third in a field of four... BMW 328i placed first... no surprises there from C&D.

My girlfriend was watching that episode and to me that Caddy does not look crushed. It simply looks covered in a bunch of random crap. I don't know if its just me though.

Red never looks right on a big car or truck.. I always half expect it to have gold leaf lettering saying F.D. on the back.

I love how it was placed so exactly in the middle... almost as if they knew that storm was going to roll in during filming...

Dayum! I watched that episode last night and I didn't even notice that! Whoever found that has a one good eye or alot of time on their hands!

Out of all that indistinguishable mess, the only thing you can make out is the CTS's grill. They placed all sorts of stuff on top of it to make it look damaged, but clearly it's not. I want to know what happened to the Aston Martin and the 300C. I hope they made it out okay. Hopefully the Nissan Titan got flipped repeatedly.

Sure hope Kate Walsh wasn't in it!! :(

I watch the show often and I'd note that Caddy isnt showing it off as crushed (the car was in excellent condition actually under the rubble...in HD it was obvious they didn't do any crushing unfortunately to make it realistic). However the car shows up in EVERY episode almost this season...driven, being washed, in the driveway, etc...so it was actually good for the storyline for it to be under rubble instead of just dissappear.

@uihidden: "Damages" had a black one as well as the new NBC show "Cane". I love that Caddy is showing thier entry level car being driven by people that are supposed to have income where they could afford a Rolls of at least a Bently.

They showed it in silvery-gray and a darker blue-gray in Boston last week...
