Edmunds Inside Line worked up one of its animated spec designs for the Toyota minicar expected to come to the US in 2007 as a 2008 model. The prospective Smart beater will be none other than the Toyota Aygo microcar, but a redesign will precede its entry into the US market. Power will likely be from some manner of engine larger and more powerful than the current 1,000cc three-cylinder mill, considering we 'mericans like our vee-hicles with horsepower at least in three digits.
