Back when we said 2007 was going to be like 1967 — the forefront of a new pony-car revolution — we were off by two years. Now it looks like 2009 will be like 1969. AutoWeek has more info on Chevrolet's new Camaro Concept that will appear at the Detroit Auto Show in January and show up in 2009 as a production model. Rumor has it the car will ride on a stretched version of the Kappa (Solstice, Sky) platform. The car is set for production as a 2009 model, sources say. Camaro, Mustang, Charger, Challenger? Sounds like the lineup of a GrandTransAm race (or boulevard burn) from the year of our birth (poetic license taken, race-history fans). (Concept spec by Kris Horton.)
