From the I think it might be a minivan department comes the Dodge Journey. After seeing a surprising number of Chrysler minivans on the roads here in Frankfurt, we can see the appeal a space wagon equipped with a 2.0L turbodiesel from the Dodge might have for the European market. David and Danya changed outfits magically while metallic confetti distracted everybody temporarily, from noticing the Journey had appeared! Steve Perry was not on hand to belt out Don't Stop Believing, and thankfully there was no vocal laxative effect.

For our next trick, we will pull a $2,500 rebate out of the glove compartment.
That doesn't look half bad.
The interior probably hates you though, and I betcha when it gets here, the EPA numbers will still be lame.
What's a space wagon, and how does it differ from a minivan?
@Retiree:
Size and configuration I think, for example:
Mazda5 = Spacewagon
Mazda MPV = Minivan
Spacewagons are narrower, and should get better mileage. Or I'm wrong, and the car actually goes into space. Which would be awesome.
Minivans are lame, and space wagons quite clearly aren't. It's really quite cut and dry, wouldn't you say?
I would say general differences (not 100% of the time) would include ride height, profile, overall height, bench seats vs bucket seats, and most importantly sliding doors vs hinged doors.
Of course, in Seth's example, the 5 has sliding doors, and the old MPV's had hinged doors. So go figure.
Dodge JOURNEY????????
So now I wellllllllcome youuuuuuu, with ooooopen doors!!!!
The name is so poetic. Glam and glitter....right to the discount rack.
What? No wheel in the sky joke? At least it doesn't have the deformities of the Nitro.
has Dodge resorted to hiring minions of Satan to sell this thing? there's an awful lot of big red goat going on in the background.
What is a space wagon? Easy. A Space Wagon is something the soccer mom consumer will buy, whereas a minivan is something the soccer mom consumer won't.
I like the looks of the Journey, from outside at least.
Dodge has done a lot worse lately. Caliber, new Caravan, Nitro.
Is there anybody who is still confident about the up-coming Chrysler products? Anybody? Helllooooo-ooooo?
@brandegee: Don't know where I'll be tomorrow...
Eww. I'd rather take the midnight train goin' anywhere . . .
i would have to say that this is probably the best exterior look for dodge this year...sadly...and I am that person who still has confidence about the up-coming Chrysler products...Dont stop believin yet kids...(new Ram...wait for it)and nitro and caliber were rough..but new caravan is one of the best chrysler vehicles in last 20 years
