A while back, we noted that Mister Jalopy, cataloger and fetishizer of all things arcane and really fucking cool, posted on the VW Harlequin Golfs that made the rounds a decade back. Sir Jalopy also reminisced about a similarly-paiinted Mercedes-Benz owned by Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Michael Balzary (who appears in the ruling doc We Jam Econo). Now owned by director/actor Dick Rude, who was in a couple of films with Jalopnik acquaintance and hero John Graham Mellor, the car was recently in [choke] an Abercrombie & Fitch photo shoot.
