Jeez, this makes us sad we missed the Grand National Roadster Show in Pomona a few weeks back. Take one New Beetle, add one jet engine complete with afterburner, drive it from the SF Bay Area to Los Angeles, win prize, burn down beer stand with afterburner upon close of festivities. Although our jet-engined VW of choice would definitely be a Thing. [Thanks to Ron for the heads up.]
