One of Jalopnik's experts in the field points out that the tuned version of the Smart car we pined for in an earlier post is actually available in Europe. Brabus, known for tweaking Mercedes models into Autobahn screamers offers a package of body and engine upgrades for the Smart line. Brabus's engine mods bring the Smart Fortwo's 0-60 time down to around 12 seconds, compared to the egg-timer acceleration number for the stock model. Of course, we're probably going to hold out until Mercedes gets busy on the AMG Smart Car.
