Now that 1,000 hp is the new 500 hp, a 900 hp Mustang Fastback may not carry overwhelming numerical firepower. But the Obsidian SG-1's allure is in the execution. Sporting a novel intake system for its dual superchargers and twin intercoolers, the Coupe-R merges old muscle with new tech, for a result that doesn't seem retrograde or neutered-modern. Intercooler placement looks good, but I wonder about functionality. My understanding was that short plumbing is good, but that putting them over the engine is bad for heat reasons. True?

hey ya kiddie winkels, just to let ya know this is is a car that my brother and his team of automotive craftsmen have built with very little time. it's actually quite amazing that this mustang has gone from a completely stock 67 mustang to a totally rebuilt and modified show stopping car in 4 months! it was painted monday morning and sent to the sema show tuesday morning! take a real close look, the roof line, doors and panel in front of the windshield are the only stock mustang items!
