When we were just a wee Jalopnik, one of our most favoritest Matchbox cars was the Mini Haha, a traditional Mini Cooper with an oversized, WW1-era radial aircraft engine blooming forth from the tiny engine bay, and an oversized, helmeted flying ace hunkered down behind the wheel. Thanks to Matt, we've found the modern equivalent, in the form of a Honda CRX (minus the radial mill and giant ace). But then again, and this one's for reals. Matchbox cars = Cool.
CRX = waste of a good engine...
Oh great, an old -presumably now expensive- toy I never new about, but can't live without.
Thanks Jalopnik.
I had one of them. No idea where it is. Same as my optimus prime and the mask car that spawned the boat.
Raven! The C4 with the flip-around front end that shot orange plastic circular sawblades out the nose. When I was a kid, I had a penchant for taking my MASK toys apart and putting them back together. Raven was the only one that didn't work quite right afterward. I have no idea how many times I pulled Volcano (the monster van with the pop-up turret) apart after running it through a mud puddle in the school yard.
I remember the orange boat/Jeep thingy! Of course, I'm still waiting for a transformer-amino.
Raven, that was it. I loved my mask toys, had the red flying car that the big man drove too.
Was there a MASK film or am I imagining things? I had and might even still have a MASK VHS but was it the show or a movie version, that is the question
Hey, I remember
