So what if this chromed Shelby Cobra replica was mere eye candy in a garage-floor supplier's SEMA booth. Someone had to strip and high-polish the thing, and make sure the plastic parts were properly mocked and coated for maximum effect. Maybe it's not even close to tasteful, and would likely be wanted for murder on South Florida highway in August. But radness comes in all sizes, shapes and level of retina threat.

Since it's a replica, I imagine they are showing off the fact that its not fiberglass.

Any Cobra is awesome, I'd say. Its really, really hard to mess up an AC Cobra. So far, I haven't seen one that made me say "OMFG, what have they done!?"
There was an article in last month's Product Finishing magazine about how far chrome plating/painting has come on plastic parts.

It's polished aluminum. Kirkham motorsports makes cobra replica's with real aluminum bodies in an old Mig Factory in poland.
