Who doesn't secretly wish he or she owned a wheelstanding school bus? It's a goddamn wheelstanding school bus, after all. You hear? A school bus that does wheelstands! Think of the fun to be had! The mirth to be made! The wheels to be stood upon! Admit it. You totally want one.

Wow, yes I do want one and I would park it next to my Liazamino.
When the guy in the school bus grids up next to you, something is definitely up.
Wouldn't you love to be the Mustang or Camaro owner explaining the next day over beer and tacos that you got your doors blown off by a school bus?
That's no wheelstand. It's a space station...
Seriously, how do you steer it when you don't touch the front wheels to the ground until the 1/8 mile mark?
Lame. The thing was obviously completely stripped out and because he couldn't steer it the time would have been crap. Pointless.
@Turboner:
Ive seen this thing up close. He actually has 2 brake pedals with which he can brake each rear wheel independantly of the other to steer it while the front wheels are up.
@flow:
Of course its not a REAL school bus, its meant to be a show, regardless of ET. Just like the Jet Semi truck doesnt tow trailers or how the Jet Ambulance doesnt carry passengers.
For spectacle only
WOW.
Lemme say it again:
WOW.
"Oh, it's not a real bus." Do i look like i fucking care. Getting something that big, that long, to rear up into the air all the way down the strip is amazing. Better than amazing, it spits fire out the back!
This is what America is all about.
Damn - Awesome - I don't want one but that thing is cool
He actually has 2 brake pedals
Yeah, I think that's standard for "wheelie cars". Possibly also the more extreme pulling tractors, which face a similar problem.
@flow: Why are you here, again?
The flames out the back are another thing that makes this bus another slice of American "awesome." And it's pointless? The point of it is that it's an old schoolbus that does goddamn wheelies. What more point do you need?
@flow: fuck you.
@Davey G.: I think all the ekranoplan posts are attracting communists to the Jalop.
@Rishi: LOL.
What, no mention of the S'cool Bus? I totally loved that thing, but could never decide if I should display it with the body up so you could see the mills, or with the body down.
@SpudMills: I've got the Hot Wheels version of the S'cool bus. It was always one of my favorites. My seven year old and I were palying with the Hot Wheels a while ago and she was fascinated by the concept of funny cars, with the whole body hinging up from the back.
This thing is alright. Most of the weight in the back to get the nose up, but actually having to accelerate to do it makes it look semi-fast and all. Not nearly as lame as the Evel Kneivel wheelie car he used for pre-jump warmup shows back in the 70's.
@lascauxcaveman:
Yes, the great thing about kids is that they let you play with thier toys.
Big ups for thinking outside the box and wrapping the family dragster in, well, a box.
You guys did notice that either the track officials are all 9 feet tall, or that thing isn't to scale?
