We can't believe our ears — but apparently, according to Detroit's WDIV — this is actually true. It seems GM's product guru and "Number Two," "Maximum" Bob Lutz is auctioning off a ride in his jet at tonight's charity auction for the Meadowbrook Concours d'Elegance. We're totally asking the boss if he'll give us a few grand to bid on this once in a lifetime opportunity to put our lives in Bob Lutz's large, manly HHR-designing Swiss hands and put our butt in the seat of his big German jet. We can already feel the hairs on the back of our necks tingle with excitement at the possibility.
