We'll admit it right now. We'd totally make out with Sabine Schmidt. That goofy German sense of almost-humor; the tomboy-esque, good-natured arrogance. The ability to hoof a Ford Transit around the N rburgring Nordschliefe in a tad over 10 minutes. Reader Michael tossed this vid our way, where a couple of blokes in a Porsche 911 GT3 follow Fraulein Schmidt around the fabled twistycourse, which kinda makes us swoon with lust, to be honest. She's totally going on our Valentine's list for next year.

Just make sure to ask for her when you book your Ring Taxi trip. I was lucky to get a ride at all, but it would have been just over the top to have Sabine driving :-) Oh yeah, the only reason I wouldn't make out with her is because I'm married. I'd think about it, though.

I gave it the ole' Google try, and I still don't know who Sabine Schmidt. All I get is that it's a fairly common name and apparently topgear.com wants to see her race the updated Ford Transit.

You won't find all the information on her unless you search against the correct name! She is Sabine Schmitz, born 1969. And she is a helluva nice person, approachable, funny, confident, but not arrogant like most male racing drivers.... If you are ever lucky enough to get a ride in the M5 Ring-Taxi, try to get the front seat - she hangs the tail out on that Beemer so far in every bend that you WILL get car-sick.... I could taste my breakfast for about 2 hours afterwards! great experience, tho'....

I recommend visiting the Pistenklause Restaurant for a big 'wheat beer', pizza and a chat with the most talented and approachable female racing driver on Planet Earth.

So you can specifically ask for her! Cool. I see no reason to ride the 'Ring without her driving.

I think Sabine and Vicki Butler-Henderson are the 2 hottest women drivers. Danica Patrick is cute, but the other two have better personalities.
