Eight Wheels Is Enough: The Eliica Electric Supercar

The Eliica (that's Electric Lithium-Ion battery Car) could be the most over-the-top electric supercar on the planet. Despite looking like a George Barris riff on an early-1970s Citroen DS, the 800bhp eight-wheeler from Japan can rocket from 0 to 60mph in four seconds (love that vertical torque "curve") and hit 100mph just three seconds later. AutoExpress got the chance to drive one, not reaching its reported top speed of 250mph, but getting pinned into the seat by the car's 0.8Gs off the line, nonetheless.
