...seen my first moving A5 today with daytime running LEDs, it looked hot as hell, with them but looks rather staid when the car is stationary and theyre off!!! maybe thats Audis design direction --> keep the cars the same and add fancy daytime lights at the front

lets just hope it works for the A4!!!!!

errr... maybe black helicopters and women is the new, uh, black. I keep seeing this Volvo ad with a woman chasing the guy in the Volvo. Neither of these ads make much sense.

That's strange, every time I go for a spirited drive down a ravishing coastal road in my luxury German car while being chased by a helicopter I get shot at instead.

Maybe it's because I drive a BMW.

The LED's look much better on the RS6 down the street from me (below the lights in a straight line). The curved lights on the A4 look like eyelashes...not instilling much of a "badass" effect.

Audi has made very subtle changes, for the most part, since they started the whole alphanumeric thing. You have to admit, they've never looked better. Remember those "sexy" 4/5000Q's of old? The 80/90/100 series looked better, the B5 A/S4 better still, etc. Besides, how much of a shitstorm did BMW start when Bangle made big design changes o'er there? Sublety=safety?

If they want to instill an impression of speed, why not chase it with an F86 piloted by Ernest Borgnine, a la The Last Chase?

I'm in charge of Audi and the designers come up with renders of the headlights of the next gen A4... I think 'GREAT' if the headlights are so cool so is the rest of the car! later I relise that's it is just the headlights. The next day the bright sparks at advertising show a car vs heli chase scene, I like how it's going so I give the nod and walk off then I see it's not really an advert, that's it, just a chase scene...
