    Report: No Hybrid for New Accord

    [Sopranos spoiler alert] Well, Bobby "Bacala" is off to the big sleep and it doesn't look good for Silvio. Now, Japan's Nikon Kazoo Cinnabon Nihon Keizai Shimbun reports Honda won't include a hybrid model among its next-gen Accords this fall. That'll leave its Civic the only one of its current hybrids to survive this year, though a new subcompact hybrid is reportedly in the works for a 2009 launch. Instead, the company's new clean diesel engine will power its midsize and large vehicles. – Mike Spinelli
