I hope you were lucky enough to catch the Perseid Meteor Shower last week. If you were watching it from the Spanish island of La Palma, a few of those streaks might have actually been these maniacs in wing suits.
Norwegian Joakim Sommer, Austrians Marco Waltenspiel and Georg Lettner and Spaniard Armando del Rey donned flying squirrel-style “wing suits” hooked up with LEDs and sparklers to “pay tribute” to the astronomical phenomenon in an amazing stunt sponsored by, you guessed it, Red Bull.
