A Datsun Roadster Is A Great Companion For A 37,000-Mile Trip

Here's an idea for a race: get Irv Gordon and his Volvo 1800 together with Scott Fisher and his '67 Datsun Roadster and see who gets across the country first.

In the latest video from Petrolicious, Fisher tells the story of his '67 Datsun and how its 1.6-liter engine took him to 48 states and parts of Canada.

Fisher's Datsun has its share of bruises from the trip. In fact, it suffered a rather serious blow to the right front fender caused by some deer.

"For now," he said, "deer and I are mortal enemies."
