It's an all-American throw down this morning. Will it be the newest snake in town or the outgoing top dog Corvette?
Welcome to Morning Would, where we present you with some of the most desirable, controversial cars ever built and ask what you would do to drive one.
The new Viper is a card-carrying member of the Not-Messing-Around Crew. Chrysler isn't fooling around anymore; they may have had some fun stuffing a truck engine into a roadster body in the 90's but now they've set out to build a proper world-beating sports car. And word on the street is that despite all the newfound refinement, little of the old venom is gone.
Your other choice is the Corvette ZR1. It may have been around a few years, but age hasn't dulled this machine. You may be down 2 cylinders to the Viper, but you're still getting the fastest, most powerful production Corvette ever made-no small feat. Plus, if you want to view your engine without opening the hood, this is the only clear choice. Even though a C7 Corvette this way comes, 638 horsepower never goes out of style.
Corvette or Viper? It's a tough choice and you can't have both. Pause, ponder, and then pontificate in the comments below.
