Would You Take A C63 Over An M3?

The Teutons are always at each other's throats, so who will it be in The Horsepower Wars: Compact Edition?

Welcome to Morning Would, where we present you with some of the most desirable, controversial cars ever built and ask what you would do to drive one.

The M3 is the reigning king of high-performance versions of, well, just about anything. It's simply amazing that a car looking almost identical to something as lowly as a 320d can, with some M-odifications, be considered one of the world's best sports cars. It's balanced, poised, aggressive-basically any adjective you want to use, the M3 can play along.

On the other hand is Mercedes' C63. This car is not about balance and it is not about poise. (Aggressive, yes.) This car is about insanity. This is a C-class — not an uncommon taxi in many parts of the world — with a 6.2 liter V8 shoehorned under the hood. This is a car that will rip your face off, a car that will scare a lion with its roar, and a car that doesn't idle but burbles. Oh, and it eats tires for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

So which would you have? The monster C63 or the triathlete M3? Make your Deutsch decision and give us your reasons in the comments.
