The New Viper Was Inspired By Halle Berry

Yesterday, SRT president and designer Ralph Gilles stopped by Jalopnik to answer some questions. When asked what inspired the design of the new Viper, his answer was simple: "Halle Berry."

When another person asked why the curvy 2013 Viper looks "bent in the middle," he replied, "Have you looked at a woman laying on the beach sideways?"

So that answers it. Ralph Gilles designed the new SRT Viper to look like Halle Berry lying sideways on the beach. It's not the first time a car has looked like a curvaceous woman lying on her side, and hopefully it won't be the last.
