The richest of the rich descended on Greenwich, CT over the weekend to show off their four-wheeled superluxury. From the Ferraris in the parking lot to the Bugattis in the show, it was a glamorous celebration of the car.
Even before we shelled out $30 to get inside, we got a car show in the parking lot. A rally-prepped Lancia Fulvia was the first thing we saw and it got better from there. It was two hours before we finally stopped taking pictures and entered the show.
It took us a few hours to get around, even thought the show itself wasn't very expansive. Nine out of ten cars were completely drool-worthy. The Miura, The one-off Pininfarina Corvette Rondine, the barn-find '37 Chrysler Imperial, and the HOLY SHITBALLS WHAT IS THIS 1947 Rolls-Royce Phantom III Labourdette Vutotal Cabriolet stood out, but there was just too much to mention or photograph.
Car shows aren't my thing, but if you have the chance to go see cars as beautiful and rare as these, go for it. When's the next time you'll see a Momo Mirage?
