Alright Jalopnik gumshoes, the police again need your help. This time it's identifying a car involved in a hit-and-run accident in Indiana earlier this week. The last time we did this you were "critical" in helping I.D. a murder suspect, so let's keep it up. UPDATE: The driver turned herself in.
UPDATE: The Indiana State Police contacted Jalopnik to let us know that the driver of the vehicle turned herself in overnight (before we posted the image). Thanks for the great work, we'll let you know if the vehicle I.D. you all came up with so quickly was correct.
This morning's mystery comes from Gibson County, Indiana. Police are looking for the hit-and-run driver who owns a part of the bumper(pictured above) from a gold/beige-colored vehicle, which struck 23-year-old Aaron Henry near U.S. 41 and Coal Mine Road as he biked with a friend. Henry is in critical condition as of yesterday morning.
Here's what the Indiana State Police have released related to the incident:
The vehicle is gold or beige and should be missing part of the front right (passenger side) bumper. Troopers also believe that the vehicle is possibly a Toyota. Anyone with information concerning this crash is encouraged to contact the Indiana State Police at 867-2079 or 1-800-852-3970. Anyone with information can remain anonymous.
