Although it pains us to say it, sometimes there are things more important in life than cars. Herb Younger is clearly a man familiar with this concept.
When money got tight for the Younger family in the late 1980s, Herb made a painful decision. He hesitantly sold the 1965 Chevrolet Impala SS he had bought brand new in the fall of 1964. Two decades later his sons set out on a mission to get their father his Impala back.
To celebrate 100 years in business, Chevrolet is producing a series of videos telling true stories of Chevrolet ownership. If this video is any indication, we're sincerely looking forward to hearing other stories of Chevy "running deep".
Posing as a film crew documenting three generations of an American family, Chevrolet had cameras on hand for Younger's emotional reunion with the Impala he bought new—over twenty years after he sold it.
