Most of us have to drive every day to get to work, but our commutes would certainly be better if we were behind the wheel of one of these cars. According to Jalopnik readers, these are the ten craziest daily drivers.
Welcome back to Answers of the Day — our Jalopnik summer feature where we take the best ten responses from the previous day's Question of the Day and shine it up to show off. It's by you and for you, the Jalopnik readers. Enjoy!

10.) Dr. Konstantin Ioannidis' Lamborghini Miura
Suggested By: waveridin1959
Why It's Crazy: It's a Miura! And this Switzerland-based doctor drives it to and from work every day! If people who take 40-year-old British cars out on the weekend are considered crazy, then what the hell is this guy? Granted, Swiss roads are glass-smooth, and we're sure the car is shown the utmost respect in parking situations, but still. It's a little silly.
9.) John Olsson's Lamborghini Murcielago
Suggested By: TimTim
Why It's Crazy: Jon Olsson is a professional freestyle skier, and apparently a pretty good one. He's taken his Murcielago from once-in-a-while plaything to daily driver status with the addition of a custom paint job and roof rack for his skis. The Lamborghini isn't that strange a choice though, as it has four wheel drive. It's certainly the fastest way up the mountain.

8.) Paul Bailey's Ferrari F40
Suggested By: rawtoast
Why It's Crazy: Paul Bailey makes a habit of disrupting the neighbors on mornings that he takes his F40 out for a drive. He often uses it for charity events, giving bidders the opportunity to take a ride for a fee. He also owns an Enzo, but the F40 is his favorite.

7.) Allen Swift's 1928 Rolls-Royce Piccadilly P1 Roadster
Suggested By: zziro
Why It's Crazy: Mr. Swift's Rolls was given to him by his father in 1928 as a graduation gift. He drove it regularly up until his death in 2005, putting over 170,000 miles on the car. He held the record for longest Rolls-Royce ownership by an individual, and was recognized by the company and awarded in 1994. The car still runs, and is currently in the collection of a museum in Springfield, Massachusetts.

6.) Stephen Mitchell's Ferrari 250 GTO
Suggested By: irishman
Why It's Crazy: In the late 1960's up through 1970, Stephen Mitchell owned a Ferrari 250 GTO, and used it as his primary form of transportation. He drove it all over the southwestern United States, to film sets and racetracks. Fortunately, unlike Paul Bailey and his F40, Mitchell's neighbors seemed to enjoy the sound of the car. His GTO is currently owned by Ralph Lauren.

5.) Jonee's Subaru 360
Suggested By: Jonee
Why It's Crazy: Commenter Jonee, for whatever reason, suffered through three years of Subaru 360 ownership. We're all surprised that either the car didn't rust into oblivion or he didn't get crushed by a passing Civic. This Subaru is tiny. And slow - it's powered by a 356cc engine, and weighs 900 pounds. In the winter, he says, he would take the battery in to work with him so it didn't die in the cold. That's dedication.

4.) Rowan Atkinson's McLaren F1
Suggested By: ncasolo
Why It's Crazy: More power to Rowan for driving his McLaren regularly, but is it so hard to not stuff it into the weeds? It's got over 30,000 miles on it right now, and we're sure that after it gets fixed back up it'll be back for 30,000 more.

3.) Lorrie Stern's Lamborghini Espada
Suggested By: Hachee
Why It's Crazy: Lorrie has had her Lamborghini custom-painted pink, driven her four kids around in it, taken it out in the snow, and put well over 100,000 miles on it. She's owned it for 38 years, and keeps it on the road in memory of her husband, who bought if for her as a gift nearly four decades ago.

2.) Margaret Dunning's 1930 Packard 740 Roadster
Suggested By: solracer
Why It's Crazy: Ms. Dunning learned to drive on her family's farm just outside Detroit, and had a license by the time she was 12. Along with the Packard, she owns a 1931 Ford Model A, 1966 Cadillac DeVille and a 2003 DeVille. The Packard isn't so much of a daily driver now, only getting on the roads a couple of times a year, but she's owned it since 1949, so it has plenty of miles under its belt with Ms. Dunning at the helm. She even still does her own oil changes.

1.) Irv Gordon's Volvo P1800
Suggested By: 6 Liter Horse Eater
Why It's Crazy: Irv Gordon of Long Island, New York is trying to hit three million miles behind the wheel of his Volvo, which he bought in 1966 and has been driving ever since. He set a Guinness World Record back in 1998 for the most miles driven in a non-commercial car owned by a single person. He hopes to hit the three million mark by his 73rd birthday in two years, and we wish him the best of luck.
