Capt. Brian Bews, the pilot who survived ejection mere feet from the ground at an air show last month in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada, has finally caught the attention of NBC's Today Show. Here's Capt. Bews' story.

You probably remember Capt. Brian Bews, the pilot who survived ejection from his CF-18 fighter jet just feet from the ground at an air show last month in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada. The video from the amazing crash has finally caught the attention of NBC's Today Show. Here's Matt Lauer:

"If music is the soundtrack to your life, one canadian pilot could not have picked a more appropriate song to be playing during his miraculous survival from a fiery crash. we'll talk to him exclusively, but first his story. when canadian forces captain brian bews took to the skies last month in a cf-18 fighter to practice for an up coming air show "Staying Alive" was playing for spectators on the ground...despite the crash bews only suffered compression fractures to the spine. doctors say he should make a full recovery."

Glad to see Bews' story has finally made the mainstream — the man is lucky to be alive. Here's the video.
