Retired Formula One driver and all-around hero Sir Stirling Moss fell three stories down an open elevator shaft yesterday, chipping four vertebrae, breaking both ankles and cracking four bones in his foot. Don't worry, according to doctors he'll be fine.
Moss was in his elevator when the door opened early and he stepped out expecting solid ground underneath. Instead, he found an empty space about three stories tall. He was quickly rushed to the hospital for emergency surgery to put pins in and make other preparations. Because he's a Highlander, or something, he'll be okay in six weeks. Get well soon Sir Cyborg Moss!
