A word of advice: This is exactly what it says it is, and it's not for the faint of heart. It took place in Berlin, but we haven't determined when. We'll say it only once: This kind of sucks.
In case you were wondering, the car in the video is definitely a 911. Everything else is a bit fuzzy: The video didn't seem to exist on the Internet until recently, but the subtitles claim that the car in the footage — which looks like a 996 — was brand-new at the time of filming. The car appears to have no engine. That's about all we know. Anyone got anything else?
Hey, guy who climbed on top of the car at the end: You are an asshat.
This sort of thing has been done before. A radio station in Finland once dropped a Boxster from a crane, and most Porsche enthusiasts are familiar with the photo of factory engineers dropping a 904 on its nose as a form of crash testing. Still, the lack of novelty doesn't make it any less disturbing.
Naturally, there's a very small part of us that watches this with staggering indifference. We have no idea what that means.
