On paper, the 944 looks like it should utterly dominate low-budget endurance racing, what with its perfect 50/50 weight distribution and sophisticated suspension setup.
This has not been the case. Oh, they're fast… when they're running. The problem is that the 944 has the rod-throwin'-est engine we've ever seen at LeMons, and the 924 and 944 both feature glass suspension parts and fritzy electrical systems.
