What's The All-Time Greatest Video Game Car?

We all enjoy our time behind the wheels of real cars, but sometimes, due to time constraints or local authorities unwilling to close roads for us to take high horsepower cars around tight-n-twisties, we're forced to resort to video games. Also, we crash sometimes, and we've yet to find the reset button in a real GT-R. But, the fake world of video gaming allows us all sorts of options to try all sorts of cars on all sorts of tracks and roads both real and imaginary. The best part is video games let us drive the cars we'd otherwise not get our hands on, including ones powered by rockets. Even non-racing games are full of vehicles for lead characters to drive. But which one is the all-time greatest video game car?

We're quite fond of the Suzuki Escudo rally car from the Gran Turismo series because it is one of the few cars so powerful it lets you do flips. But does it have a smokescreen? The G-6155 from Spy Hunter has a rad smokescreen that would surely come in handy in many situations. Even then, in a one-on-one would a smokescreen stand up to Sweet Tooth from Twisted Metal? At the end of the day our ultimate fictional ride is probably the Cadillac Cart from Mario Kart. It handles well, it accelerates like nothing else and has red shells. Can you compete with a red shell?
