This has to be the loudest UPS truck we've ever heard. It's really important to notice during this dyno run how the hand held camera is shaking during one of the pulls. So it may not be quite as insane as the 2,200 hp quad turbocharged V8 we saw on Friday, but it's definitely more streetable, and has up to 100% more Dodge Viper GTS. This sucker is obviously set up for drag racing though following the advice of the video and going to UndergroundRacing.com gets us no additional info on the car. We did dig up pictures of the beast though, and its pretty sick. This almost makes us sad that the Viper is as good as dead these days. How much you want to bet these guys have already rented an oversea container to Poland?

1500hp? Weak
I want that sound to play every time my computer does anything. Then when a shitty email comes in from my boss, at least it will sound sweet.
Nice and roaring.
Yikes!
I'd want more straps on the back if I was in that thing.
I wonder if the owner uses it solely for drag racing or actually drives it on the street. I recall seeing that a lot of the faster Viper racers ditched the 6 speed manual for a 3 speed auto. Also, what octane do they need to run to get 1500hp? And does anyone know at what 1/4 time the NHRA requires a chute? That'd give a good estimate of how fast the car'll run.
@beta.rogan: Yeah that's a scary beast to dyno. I would strap it down with king kong chains.
I believe All cars that go over 150 mph in the quarter mile are required to have AND USE a chute. Dual chutes are REQUIRED for any vehicle over 200 mph.
Geez, they had tie-down at the door frame, too.
I guess considering how many other cars were in the garage & parked pretty close, that's a good idea.
The reason you don't see any readily available information about this on ViperAlley is because this is from over a year ago, and because Garth has since put the car up for sale (IIRC ~$150kish). For those of you who are curious, the car holds an unofficial record of fastest 6 speed IRS street car with 7.98@183mph driven by Kevin of UGR. Yes it still uses the Tremec T56, it's not a dogbox.

Garth never piloted the car to anything near those speeds, nor were the times backed up. Hopefully a new owner will solidify the number the car first put down.
I still like this one better...

I saw a video of an uber-GNX that blew the dyno. That was awesome.
That sound coming from Hulk Hogan's garage is 100% opposite from the kind of sounds that come from his kid's mouth.
Interesting dyno run (and 1/4 mile time if accurate). I bet this thing can do a zero to upside down in a ditch backwards with a door ripped off and bursting into flames in under 3 seconds flat. Perfect for a novice driver with rich parents.
Sorry for the rant. Too many sons of riches destroying good performance cars in FL lately. I need a drink.
@ØmÆgä ßrÅff:
Hey Fatt Braff, What car is that? The profile looks like a 280Z?
Or a Jensen? But yeah, sounds sweet.
The 2 guys sitting on the engine while Dyno? Super Retardo!
I don't know where the viper was filmed but that's a veritable snake pit of 'em.
Danger, danger, danger!
the licence plate says "hiboost"...but to drive it yo need "bigba11s"...
@CARBONFIBER: That would be the Darius 240Z--Google it if you dont know the car, it has recently been completed I believe.
It know has a custom body kit on there and looks a lot different. Under the hood is a supercharged LS(?) motor...
