It's darn near an epidemic. As unlikely as it may seem, we have captured pictures of another Google Street View accident. Not only is this one more dramatic, it features a much healthier dollop of schadenfreude. Where before we had a random car crash, here we have a double luxo-SUV smash-up featuring the fancy pants Audi Q7 and Landie's Range Rover outside of the Phoenix Country Club. Feel that? That's stereotype humor rocking your socks off. Take solice in that there is still an element of 'WTF?'. Somehow that Range Rover finished the action upside down, and considering the extent of the damage we're surprised to see the occupant dutifully taking down insurance info. This is making us wonder how many Street View accidents there are out there.[Google Maps]

"Somehow" -- uh, there's this thing called center of gravity...
The schadenfreude applies because an Audi Q7 and a Range Rover were involved, rofl
Are we sure the Landy didn't roll down off a nearby mountain during some sort of rock crawling event?
Just saying. It is one of them "Sports Utility Veehicles" after all.
Yes! Two down... Countless billions to go.
There have got to be easier ways to measure suspension travel.
I'm guessing two valets from the country club were hooning around while the middle-aged women owners were enjoying their second mint julep and comparing Botox stories...
There's a good chance that the streetview vehicles have caused a lot of the accidents they capture as people get distracted by the car with the huge camera rig on top. Although this one looks like it happened before they got there.
Wow. Some dollars there!
Weird, the post says "0 Views," but I'm the 6th person to comment. How did you guys comment without even viewing the post?
Audi uber alles apparently.
Looks just like Mischa Barton's Range Rover....wait a minute!
There also seems to be a Forester XT involved there too. Not QUITE in the same league as the Rover and Audi but still potent. And WTF is the guy with the "overall shorts" doing? Taking notes for the screenplay?
When Un-Sexy, Vodka Swilling Geriatrics Attack!
Somebody find those B!tc#es a Rascalâ„¢ to ride instead!

Idiots
@Guinness: Actually, there's a one already up and running: [digg.com]
any crash scientists know what happened? Did the audi nail the rover on the passenger side as it was turning, causing it to roll in the leftward direction?
Maybe they came across one of those elusive "curves"
I heard there are a few around Phoenix if you look hard enough.
Wasn't it Prime Minister Clarkson himself who warned us about ze Germans building huge SUV's only to start another invasion (TG magazine issue don't remember)? It has begun...and it looks like the Battle of Britain has already been decided. I wonder how the Hummers wiil stand up against an army of Q7's, GL's and X5's (and imagine those being Transformers!).
The best part is this accident is conveniently located next to the Phoenix Country Club.
What's that Subaru forester doing there?
@Braappbraapp:
Grounds keeper or caddy?
My guess is the accident took place at 20 mph...
the Land yatch owner jerked the wheel too hard while she was yapping on the cell phone and rolled it...
kinda like the old VW Beetle with swing-axle suspenders.
Funny, neither Lindsay Lohan nor Britney have been reported in AZ recently.
The fun bit is when you look closer at the "Country Club" it's actually a rental complex (I'm guessing a little rundown judging from the graffiti on the sign) with a small audience of people observing these over-indulged morons wreck two vehicles worth more money than they likely get in several years of wages.
If you spin the camera you can see a very nice-looking Mustang sitting at the light, waiting for these assholes to move.
There's all kinds of interesting stuff going on around there. I particularly like Mr. Shades in the G-Monte, obviously the most badass guy within 750 sq ft, with Mr. Osh-Kosh shorts a close second.
@skaz: I was just looking at that. You can see his wheels when you round the corner, i dont know if i like them. Looks funny.
And how long is that dude gonna tie his shoes on the other corner. Just join the crowd.
@Braappbraapp: "What's the Subaru Forester doing there?"
Token lesbo.
So much for keeping the shiny side up...
I know how this happened. They got the idea from Homer Simpson and it involves a portable oven that plugs into the cigarette lighter and fresh baked cupcakes. Since its a Range Rover we can only assume they were leaving the country club after a round of golf and had a itch that only fresh baked goods could scratch. Keeping a SUV right side up and frosting a cupcake isn't easy.
A Audi Q7, a Range Rover and at least one fake blonde soccer mom..
and then they want us to not laugh at this..
See, this is why people need to read Jalopnik. If they had merely learned the flip turn off the side, as executed on the Sand Dune V8 Hoonami video, they would have been able to slide-park at the curb, and step out to waiting drinks at the Club. Poor uneducated bastards...
Isn't that Judge Schmales? Looks like he's reading the note:
"It's easy to grin,
When your ship comes in,
And you've got the stock market beat.
But the man who's worthwhile,
Is the man that can smile,
When his shorts are too tight in the seat."
Also, the motorcycle cop and the steel pole on the corner are wearing identical headgear.
@WorkingOnYourInvoice: Three down. I passed a wrinkled up one this morning on the way to work.
@Mad_Science: Zero views and six omments? You don't have the skull implant Jalop feed yet?
Six COMMENTS. The omments are elsewhere.
This is hilarious, especially considering to total dollar value of cars involved. (maybe they should be driving CARS instead....)
