The production values are much better than i expected for a Fiat ad.

@Murilee--But as often happens, when you convert US 15 minutes to European time it's more like 15 years of fame. The US attention span and historical sense being what it is.

It's part of a series of Fiat ads with the "jamaican bobsled team", some older ones are much funnier.

I loved that ad, too bad we can't get that car here in the USA.

Suddenly i have a hankering for a finely tailored shirt and a Facel Vega.
A quite poignant hankering as a matter of fact. Nothing else would do. And i think i have to be driving that red Facel Vega in the snow.

Considering that 3000lb grocery getters can't be the final answer to man's need to move about, what do you folks think about the hypothetical proliferation of Ascari race resort-alikes? Perhaps following closer to the likes of a ski resort; get your season pass and take runs point to point down tail of the dragon?

I rented a Panda in Italy and could not have had more fun. Sure it had 60 hp and was so small that I almost killed my finace with my elbow while adjusting the sunvisor... But it had a 5 speed on the dash, it weighs about 4 pounds, is surprisingly fun off road, and it would do 90 on the autostrada if you had the wind at your back. What a fun little car, I wish we had them here. You could get a decent used one for like $5k.
