Do we have the best readers in the world? Yes, yes we do. We've gotten so many responses to the weird carnival truck post from last week, that we had to do a second post clarifying the truck's details. It's based on a concept created on a Mercedes platform by Swiss industrial designer Luigi Colani. It's not new — the truck concept goes back to the 1980s, when Colani created an aerodynamically efficient vehicle to challenge the truck speed record. The truck eventually traveled 1,200 miles during a US tour in the 1980s, and Colani went on to create seven others. Video clip here.
