More on Fiat's Sportiva Latina Concept

Before Fiat unveiled its latest design concept in Barcelona last month, we'd have thought Sportiva Latina referred to our favorite skate shorty, Brazil's Fabiola da Silva. But no. Fiat's gull-wing concept, which won the Barcelona show's Special Prize of the Jury for its "innovative concepts for the vehicle of the future," has nothing to do with sporting latinas, but everything to do with showcasing new automotive technologies. Among the car's notable innovations are a split-frame chassis, steer-by-wire system and an eye-centered positioning system, which automatically adapts the car's steering wheel, seat and pedals to the driver, based on eye height. Muito rad, indeed.
