The Spyker-y looking Lamborghini 5-95 by Zagato got me thinking. Sure, that car looks kind of weird to me, but truth be told, if you're car has to look like something, it should look like a Spyker. Because Spykers are some of the prettiest cars around.
The Spyker B6 Venator is supposed to be the company's saving grace, but last we heard, the company was trying to sell bonds to get it into production.
Which is a damn shame.
I've always had a thing for Spykers. Whether it was the classically-styled C8, the beautifully modern C8 Aileron, and Nothing Else Because We Won't Mention The Kind Of Ugly C12, they put any contemporary Ferrari F430 or Noble M600 to shame in the looks department.
Something about Spykers just felt right. They looked how a sports car should. They weren't outrageous for the sake of outrage, they were just pretty.
So here's hoping they can finally manage to get the company off the ground. Because works of art should be spread around the world.
