The Veyron wasn't exactly the most desirable car ever made, taking ten long years to sell 450 of them. The drivetrain, though, was an irrefutable masterpiece.

I've seen one of these things in person, and it looks like some assembly plucked from an Apollo module.

It's amazing to watch the big quad-turbo double-double VR4 get put together. And it's hilarious to see a bunch of beer-fed Germans doing it, too.
