This Truck Will Attempt To Break The Monster Truck Speed Record At COTA (UPDATE)

This is the Raminator. It excels at crushing cars and being generally awesome. But can it go faster than 96.8 mph?

That's the current Guinness world record for top monster truck speed, and today at Circuit of the Americas in Austin, the Raminator will try to break it.

Update: And they did it. Driver Mark Hall set a world record of 99.1 mph, shy of the 100 mph barrier they wanted to break but still good enough to make the Raminator the fastest monster truck in the world. More to come.
