They Run Speed Week In Africa, Too

Hot rods, exotics, and motorcycles, streaming out into the flat, open desert. It looks like the American West, but it's actually along the border between Namibia and Botswana. It's Speed Week — in Africa.

This was the first year of the Kalahari Desert Speedweek Club and their first event was at Hakskeenpan just last month. As you can see in this video by itswhatiminto, the event is just as hauntingly gorgeous as any in America.

Now we just need to get these guys to do some interviews and see if they're as crazy as their American counterparts.
