You've probably noticed that Subaru is going big this year with wagons, sedans and even shooting brakes at the LA Auto Show and Tokyo Motor Show. Next, they're about to go big in the literal sense with a large SUV concept with seven seats. Meet the Crossover 7 Concept.

We had heard that Subaru might be bringing a replacement for the soon-to-be-dead-and-missed-by-no-one Tribeca SUV at the Tokyo show, and this appears to be it. According to Zercustoms, it comes in at about 188 inches long, 70 inches wide, and 67 inches tall, which puts it more or less in line with the Subaru Outback. The big difference is that it has seating for seven people, while the Outback only offers seats for five.

No real details have been released on this yet except to say that it appears headed to production. Subaru's press materials say it's a "seven-seat SUV designed to combine the rigors of urban family use with true off-road driving capability."

It looks better than the Tribeca did at any rate, but that's not hard to do.
