My love of the Mini has been documented in more places than I ever hoped possible, so of course I'm excited to see BMW already well underway on plans to make a more-precise version of the Mini cabrio for the adoring masses of micro machine lovers. Although the mule in the photos is relatively complete-looking, the folks at Motoring File believe this drop-top won't be dropping onto dealer lots for quite some time — say Spring of 2009. I guess that means you Mini-heads may have to hold onto that microgasm in your pockets for just a little while longer.
