It might look like a rejected space shuttle concept of the late '50s, but it's Sierra Nevada Corporation's Dream Chaser. Here it is successfully rolling through two tow tests (the Ford F-450 should not be confused with an Atlas V).

Flight tests are expected this summer, but the Dream Chaser has a long way to go before its projected 2016 launch. For fans of the space shuttle who aren't quite turned on by SpaceX's giant hovering penis, however, any successful testing is a welcome sight.
