Lance Armstrong Gets A New Leaf, Immediately Juices It

Bicyclist/cancer fighter Lance Armstrong showed off his Nissan Leaf electric car yesterday, the first sold in the United States. Of course it has custom yellow-band tires. Somewhere, Greg LeMond is looking for a RAV4 EV to key.

Armstrong has long been a spokesman for Nissan, and having the first Leaf in his hands serves up the same kind of free publicity that giving an Audi S8 to Tom Brady once did. Other celebrities among the 20,000 Leaf orders Nissan has taken include Alyssa Milano and Bill Nye, who's also getting a free Chevrolet Volt. It might be the only way Bill Nye could outrun Lance Armstrong. [Twitter/ABG]
