The upcoming hybrid supercar war is heating up, and now we appear to have our first look at Ferrari's 900 horsepower V12/electric motor combo set to go in the F70 Enzo replacement.

The picture comes to us from out of the current issue of Ferrari Magazine, and while it's too small to read the caption, we can see that there's a 7.3 liter V12 in the middle and some kind of electric thingamabob behind it.

Which hybrid engine do you prefer: the Porsche 918 with its top-mount exhausts, the McLaren P1 with its turbo V8, or this big mess of high-voltage wires, carbon fiber, and V12 power?

Calling all engineers - I know that different hybrid setups have the motor place in different locations relative to the engine and transmission.

Is there anything new can learn from this photo seeing what looks like most of the hybrid drive a good way back behind the engine?
