We just ran across this on YouTube, and it was too good not to post. Sure, there was a not-so-good made-for-TV version produced ten years or so ago, and Audioslave re-enacted the film in their "Show Me How to Live" video (which is inferior to Soundgarden's "The Day I Tried to Live," incidentally). But neither carry the gut-wrenching impact of the final scene of the original Vanishing Point. Sometimes, in a society choking on a culture filled with too much dreck, it's easy to forget just how good a film about a guy and an big-block-powered E-Body can be, even if they did blow up a Camaro rather than one of the Dodges. Happy Birthday, Camaro! Viva Kowalski!
